So I am in the process of changing the front bearing on my 4wd 04....a few questions maybe I can get some help on:
Is it possible for the hub to get worn down from getting a bearing pressed on/off too many times?...I took it all a part and the shop that was doing the press on/off said that it looks like it has taken a bit of abuse...not sure how much of an effect this will have on the new bearing....should I change the hub.
The dust seal that goes between the hub and bearing module......the dealer sold me the correct one according to their system but the shop said it looks wrong cause the the center diameter of the hole is much larger that the spindle of the hub... I Am going back to the dealer in the am to have them take a look but has anyone else had this comment
How hard is it to change the seal/gasket that is in the stealing knuckle....I noticed a small tear, and am figuring this might be my culprit
Any insist would be great....I am ready to scream on this one
