So all of a sudden, my windows and door locks stopped working. None of the switches work on any door and also, the sunroof doesn't move. Everything else seems to work fine. Anyone got any ideas? I'm stumped.

Update: Had my best friend (toyota tech) look at the truck. We've come to the conclusion that there appears to be two different gear ratios going on. The rears are spinning faster than the fronts. We're gonna throw it up on the lift later this week and get a closer look.

Well I was in a parking lot at work and I slipped it into 4 HI. When I moved, the drivetrain binded up quite a lot. This was also barely moving. I didn't think it was normal, but then again I've never had a 4wd vehicle before. When I bought the truck, the front driveshaft had been removed...

As it sits, I know it's not good to run in 4WD on pavement. The sun visor says slippery roads though. Now does this mean a snow covered road or what? I don't want to be driving along and hit a clear spot and screw something up. So what kind of guide should I be following here?

So are there any performance junkies out there that know of anything to do to the 3.0 to get some power out of it? I'm going to be rebuilding one and figured I'd try to get a few more horses out of it while I'm doing it. Different pistons and rods maybe? Just throw me some frickin bones here. :D

If it's coming OUT of that boot then the oil is coming from inside the transmission bell housing. I'm 99% sure that's your rear main seal

It's got a bad universal joint on the rear drive shaft. The front drivers half shaft needs to be replaced. It's got an odd misfire that my mechanic thinks is an injector. On the plus side, it's got a decent interior. It's a 5 speed which I like, but the tranny likes to slip out of first...
