    Fuel / Ignition Gremlins (3RZ-FE)

Not that this is your problem but if the ground under the diagnostic connector is not hooked up on the intake manifold, it won't run. Crank sensor, same thing. Good luck

LTFT high except at idle and WOT ???

I don't think it quite works that way. It takes +14% to make the 02 sensor happy. You aren't burning 14% more. I think it means you are getting slightly less fuel from the injectors than the ecu anticipates or you are getting more air than expected. You should start a 3rz thread...

At wits' end: yes another highway vibration thread!

theory If a rear end link was bad, would it not impact pinion angle? Making the driveshaft vibrate only under load? When you lift a 4runner, do you shim the carrier bearing? Is there a carrier bearing? I have a 1 peice. 2runner. It vibrates

    K&N Oil Filter Leak?

Guys yeah wow, I make contact and 1/2 turn. Take them off by hand. If you over squish rubber, it will deform.

    Multiple misfire on cylinder 1-3

head gasket or something could be failing. That is why they keep repeating themselves. Could be something electric because it is happening on both heads. I think 1,2,3 is not all one head, anyway. Bad coil would be something like #2 and #6 misfiring at the same time. Good luck...

    Haweka Adapter

It is frustrating. Dealers don't know what the adapter kit is and my toyota dealer doesn't have one. They all say "bring your tires in" because they think it will work out.

    Drum Brake Help

I spent about a week on this because my brakes were dragging. I had some wagner pads and if you put them in the drum, the ends are about 1/32nd away from the drum. They will stop the car but u can't adjust the e-brake to work and not have them drag. They just fit too poorly. They flex too...

    Rust: A Midwestern T4R's Dilemma

Lots of things work on rust. You have to remove the scale for most of them to work. When removing poc marks like that, sand 1" beyond them at least. If it is coming from the backside, it is not just sand and paintable.

What's the real scoop about Toyota frame rust?

The worst I have seen is on the undercoated ones. The undercoating cracks and saltwater sits in the cracks and just eats it up. I know I've seen a newer than 2001 tacoma with a replacement on the net somewhere. I've seen a few tundras for sale with new frames also but 2000 or 2001. My...

Break shoes "Locking up" to Drums

There is a specific distance the bellcrank is supposed to be from whatever it pushs on inside, I don't see that in those directions?

Break shoes "Locking up" to Drums

There are specific directions for setting the bellcrank. If you aren't using it, I would guess that is not your immediate problem. If you're using your e-brake though, it could create problems if set wrong.
