I have been told twice now that other manufacture wheels fit 4th gen 4runners, one being chevy 1500 wheels. Any one know where I may find a list of interchangeable wheels?

Thanks guys. Yeah I hope doing all this does the job. It has started to have a heavy steering feel, and in turns seems to want to stay in turn rather than return to neutral steering.

I am trying to compile a list of all the parts I would need to rebuild the front end in my 05 4runner sr5, ball joints, tie rod ends etc. I would rather just do it all once, since both my cv shaft boots are shot. I'm brain cramping, don't want to forget anything, just want to order it all on one...

Got it all back together, this time I coated every thing with never-seize. It seems to be working great again.

Update Well I ended up doing surgery with a cut off wheel. I carefully cut away the lock/latch assembly one piece at a time until only the bottom section was left. I then was able to hammer the latch open with a large screw diver.The strap was actually not in the latch, just a coincidence that...
