Looking at this. Its got the right engine and the interior is in pretty good shape. My biggest concern is the bodywork on the fenders. Plans would be for fender flares but the rust goes way past this. I don't have any issues doing the mechanical work but the bodywork scares me a bit. Saucy...

Same issue with my 98. Pulled the oil pan and there was a washer. Still running, have no idea how long it's been like that. If you didn't hear it let go, then it was like that when you bought it.

I have read many of the threads on this and still really can't find an answer. I live 3 miles from the boat ramp, up 2 hills and down 1. Boat is a 97 SeaRay 18' and weighs in around 2800lbs. Will a 22re, manual, IFS pull this? Good idea or not, will it physically do it?
