I've ordered the LFD crossrails as well as Daystar 2.5/1.5 and Bilstein 5100 - on the fence on wheel/tire sizing. I'm thinking about doing the lift and alignment - then take measurements with OEM wheels/tires in place then decide...

I got the Daystar spacers and Bilstein 5100's. Sounds like 285/70x17 is a safe choice. Will try and get all installed at the same time to get the alignment right. Will post pics eventually...

I just got my 2016 and have gone through this thread and found it very useful. Previously I had a 2002 with full Toytec lift (put in at about 100k). I don't want to "throw away too much" as this one has only 16k miles on it. I'm liking the idea of "being level at 38in". This is a 2.5 spacer...

Put 275k miles "from new" on my '02 and upgraded yesterday to a silver 2016. I saw a 2018 on the dealer floor with blackout emblems with black wheels - and thats the way I want to go. The roof rack is pathetic and I'll be looking to improve that as well (are the factory crossbars worth it?)...

Replace the MAF - its cheap! I too had the "bouncing idle" and after replacing the MAF it went away - I'm at 250k miles....

I'm attacking my brakes this weekend. Stop-Tech cryo-treated front rotors with OEM pads and new calipers (I figure after 245k they've got to be worn). I bought drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, and the hardware kit for the rear - but I'm concerned about getting the shoes out as my E-brake is...

I guess I could get the rebuilt calipers and a caliper rebuild kit and then return one of the other.....

On my old '72 vette the bores on the brake calipers were prone to getting pitted leading to leaks around the edges of the piston. With 245k miles on mine and brakes needing attention I'm contemplating a set of rebuilt calipers (Pep Boys, etc). On the vette I had stainless steel sleeves...

How many miles can you get from the power steering pump? I replaced my alternator a while ago and things up front "quieted down" - but something up there now making noise. I have 245k on the original...
