the rebuild was 3800. by the time it was taken out and installed, around 5500.

I just got my engine rebuilt from the bottom up. new pistons and all. i have read a bunch about break in procedures, and there are lots of ideas. a knowledgeable person told me that with the procedures and equipment they have now, to just drive it regularly. any advice? thanks

How much trouble is it to replace the 5vze with a hilux? Where would I find a hilux motor? My mechaninc in northern california said that if I switched it, it wouldn't pass smog. Thanks

hey rockdawg. my supercharger probably has 100000 on it, (but I've never gone crazy on it), black supercharger, i wan't to occasionally embarrass a camero (although I love destroying 4.0 L jeeps for some reason), 5 speed of course, I go offroading too. I'd like a lot of power. would it help...

When I first got the truck, toyota told me that the 7th injector causes problems. Is this true? what kind of problems could it possibly create?
