Front shocks were relatively easy. The first side took an hour, the second side took 15 min. A good spring compressor and a large pry bar are the only `special` tools needed. Oh, and a cold brewski............ 8-)

While changing out my front shocks I noticed some `play` in the hub and located the problem that appears to be the inner steering link `ball joint` on the end of the steering rack. Do these come off the steering rack easily and can I do this myself ? By the way....... the Bilsteins rock !!

Having survived the floods last week I`m ready to start upgrading my `98 series three. Bilsteins are on order and I`ll be picking up some BFG all-terrains shortly there after. Does anyone make any decent sway-bars??? Thanks for the help !!
