steering rack `end ball`

While changing out my front shocks I noticed some `play` in the hub and located the problem that appears to be the inner steering link `ball joint` on the end of the steering rack. Do these come off the steering rack easily and can I do this myself ? By the way....... the Bilsteins rock !!
