I have a 12' TE 4Runner and I have noticed that the OEM roof rack railing has a outer slot. Has anyone used this slot to mount any accessories like a awning or lighting? I looked around on the forum but could not come up with any results. Thanks.

Thanks! Yea I looked at many options for storage and I think the fact that I can lock our stuff up on the fly and keep things dry, the box was just a no brainer. Yea I believe this one is 40 pounds ish. I just wonder how the plastic will hold up in the sun/heat over time.
