I did same a few months back: pulled HU & installed dash mount for RAM accessories. Wanted to restart XM subscription today but app is gone. Hoping I don’t have to pull HU again to fix it.

Thanks for the pointer to a south bay shop. I have used SWAT and was very happy with them (they did my lift) but since they are in Fremont, it's a small pain to get there when I need work done.

Thanks for the pointer. I have seen the Fourtreks but I guess I don't like the way it looks (nor the fact that it is not available in black since I just want to mount to blend in). I think a better alternative is this one from GZila which I have yet to confirm will work...

Nice setup! How is the GZila mount working so far with the Gobi? I just purchased James Baroud awning and it turns out they don't provide a way to attach to the tubular racks like Gobi. Thus, I need a solution for my Gobi Stealth and a side awning. Have you noticed any slippage when driving...

What exact awning are you using and did you use the Gobi Stealth mounts? I'm looking for an awning that looks very similar to what you have: not too long and fits nicely against the vehicle but attaches easily to a Gobi Stealth. Bought a James Baroud but it may only work with non-tubular...

Good point. The mounting bracket kind of fits between the Gobi tubes as shown in the images but there is not backing plate to connect it to the base of the rack. TAV who is working with OK4WD to help me figure this out. Sounds like the backing plate (plus instructions!) were left out of the box.

Just wanted to share an issue I had while installing the wind fairing on my Gobi rack. Initial install went fine but during the step where you must remove the wind fairing to place the clear tape on the roof of the 4Runner to protect the paint, 2 of the 3 allen bolts cottecting the wind fairing...

I was #91 on the list and mine arrived yesterday. But... it took several calls to Gobi around shipping day 9, 10 and 11 to get them to contact the shipping company directly. On day 11 when Gobi actually called the shipping company (they did not on day's 9 & 10 even though they said they would)...
