What phone number are the shipping companies calling from? Will it be a local company to Colorado or local to shipping destination? I have missed calls from out of state but they tend to be spam and don't leave voicemails. Just don't want to miss my shipment!

what model 4runner do you have? Also, what number on the list are you? I hope they do ship it! Enjoy it.

Order update. Received e-mail confirmation that my rack is in-transit and will be here 7-10 business days.
#46 on list, ordered Package #1 Stealth for '14 runner. 2 weeks late from the original said date but I was in no rush to get it. Hope this helps.

I was #91 on the list and mine arrived yesterday. But... it took several calls to Gobi around shipping day 9, 10 and 11 to get them to contact the shipping company directly. On day 11 when Gobi actually called the shipping company (they did not on day's 9 & 10 even though they said they would) to find out what happened to my shipment, I was immediately contacted because I believe they were sitting on my box. They delivered the next day. So, I'd recommend nudging Gobi around shipping day 9/10 like I did if you are concerned about delivery.

Or, just maybe, Gobi should have given realistic timelines and not overplayed their hand. I think they were not expecting such a turnout on the group buy and got sloppy. It makes since from a business standpoint, sell! So long as you realize that you are going to get hit with customers asking where their product is.
Keep in mind they told me 12 weeks at order timing due to being #1 on the list. I'm going on 19 weeks now. I think it is completely fair to be asking questions when communication is nonexistent and 4 promise dates have been blown with no explanation.

I called Gobi yesterday and received a callback today. I called to see if it was too late to make a change in the order. Turns out they haven't even made my rack yet. Anyway, they accepted the change, and said the rack should be made and shipped next week. Hoping for the best but not going to hold my breathe. 5 months today since I placed my order.

So you ordered your rack on October 30th? I hope mine doesn't take 5 months! I'm at 15 weeks since I ordered mine.

how is yours not even started and why did you wait so late to request a change. I ordered Nov 28 and mines been done for 2 weeks. just waiting on time to do local install.

I dunno. If there were some rhyme and reason to their process maybe I'd hazard a guess. Looks like they may be throwing all the orders into a barrel and randomly picking them out for fulfillment.
The change was a bit of a last minute thing. Rather than have two fixed cross bars I went with a removable rear cross bar.

Finally got a response from Gobi, my rack is supposedly in transit and should be delivered sometime next week.
I'm # 68 on the list and ordered a 3rd gen rack through Trail Duty. Hopefully that helps someone create an algorithm to determine the logic in Gobi's fullfillmet process.

I have a 5th gen and I'm #93. Yeah, I really hope they do ship it. I'm going crazy waiting for it.
