Let's see those black 5th Gens!

Here is my “old school” ‘13 TE. Just got an Xventure XV-2 and regeared my 4runner. Tows beautifully! Also threw in an ARB front locker while I was doing a gear swap anyway.

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Found some FN FX Pros wrapped with nearly new 315/70R17 KM3’s on Craigslist for a good deal and no wait time for the wheels. Imgur: The magic of the Internet

    ARB Safari Snorkel Install

Well that sucks! You’ll have to call and order one from a Safari dealer since it’s proprietary.

    Indel-B Fridge/Freezer Sale - Spring 2017

I’m not sure since I didn’t set up the original group buy. I would think you could just contact Truck Fridge to get the ball rolling. I can say I love my fridge and I highly recommend the Indel B. I’m not too proud and I don’t need to say I have an ARB. At half the cost, these things are...

KDSS Balancing - Correcting lean after lift

Right rear was low by almost 1”. Front was easily leveled due to adjustable coilovers.

KDSS Balancing - Correcting lean after lift

FWIW, my solution was a 10mm OME trim packer on top of my passenger side rear lift coil.

Yaw Rate and Acceleration Sensor Zero Point Calibration

Glad you got it figured out. Fixing the wire should get rid of all of the lights. That wire sets everything off since the abs is tied to all of those systems. I’m guessing you won’t have to do a ZPC. Just drive it around for a few days and you’ll know if the stability Control is overactive...

Yaw Rate and Acceleration Sensor Zero Point Calibration

I installed my lift at 100 miles, lol. Sooooo, no way to compare it to stock height since it has basically been lifted it’s entire life. It seems like the 10-13 TE’s with KDSS had this issue the most. Not sure if newer ones were having the issue as much. Good luck on your fix. It’s...

Yaw Rate and Acceleration Sensor Zero Point Calibration

Yep, I’d bet money you severed the wire on the side you stretched. Luckily, that wire can be had at Toyota for less than $75 give or take. It’s also easy to install. As far as what DLC3 means, I have no idea. But, I can tell you for sure it is the plug under your driver’s side dash and I...

Yaw Rate and Acceleration Sensor Zero Point Calibration

Your issue sounds like you severed an ABS wire that runs along both front spindles. If these wires are stretched too much, they break inside the rubber wire protection. Therefore, you can’t visibly tell it’s broken, you have to test the wire with a meter. The DLC3 is the OBDII port under your...

Sliders or skids for Moab/ Colorado trip?

Yep, sliders. You can run down to Metal Tech in Newburg, OR to save on shipping. I run their sliders and have put them to the test in Moab. They can handle the abuse.
