I'd like to bring this thread back to life as I have the exact same problem. If I buy a 2nd hand ECM off Ebay ($50-80), install it myself and have a locksmith flash it ($200), is there any problems I would run into? Would anything else need to be replaced when you change out the ECM? Otherwise...

Sorry for the delay in reply. I found out the problem: I had recently replaced the battery connectors, but the problem was where he wire hit the plate of the battery connector. Just needed some cleaning...
