Yeah, I think you may be right. I'm leaning towards my next tires being 255/80/17's, which won't rub at all, or if anything, only on the front mud flaps, which I can remove. That's all I had to do on my Taco to run them at least, and it had no lift at all.

Hello all, I've never done a lift before on my previous Tacos or 4Runner, but on my new 5th Gen 4Runner I'm wanting to put 33" tires on it (specifically the 285/70/17 BFG KM3's), and beef up the suspension. I think I've narrowed it down to the OME lift kit, but I'm not sure whether to do the...

I just got back from a 2-day, 1000 mile drive on my new KM3's. I was very happy. I averaged 21 MPG for the majority of the trip, and I was heavy on the throttle in parts. Not too shabby.

Their estimated lead times put sliders and bumpers at 2-3 months. They say roof racks are 5-15 days. I'm really hoping they get out soon, I'd like to use it for an upcoming road trip in a few weeks.

Last night I ordered a Victory 4x4 roof rack and twin jerrycan holder to go with my Pelican case and water/ gas cans. I'm concerned for the health of my bank account...the future does not look bright. :bounce:

Just got her yesterday. My 2022 TRD ORP. I removed the running boards, hood protector, and OEM tires. Since she's silver, I named her, "Sylvanas 4Runner", which any WoW players will appreciate the reference.

Well....yesterday I drove it home. :tongue: Today I took it up a mountain, after switching out the tires for KM3's, removing the running boards, and removing the hood protector.

That's very respectable. I'd be thrilled with that. I'll be doing a couple road trips in the next few weeks and I'll have to see how I compare. I have BF Goodrich KM3's, which I imagine will hurt my mileage, but they are stock size, so maybe not too badly.

...No matter what I do, I just can't quite reach 67 MPG. I'm stuck at a cruddy 66.9MPG. :der: Hahaha (Note, this isn't a serious thread, I just thought my average MPG while coasting down Pike's Peak was funny.)
