    Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT Tires

Anybody running these tires? I'm looking for good highway tires, not going to off-road in these, this thing is 99% highway right now. Not trying to compare to other options, just want to see if anyone has experience with these.

    San Jose/South Bay Suspension Experts

I'm just looking to get a suspension system (meaning everything working together) that works for on-road DD and some occasional off-road fun. I've been through dozens of threads, but any one person saying to pick this or pick that is just seat-of-the-pants conjecture. There's no way to know...

    San Jose/South Bay Suspension Experts

Not necessarily looking to use what I have, that's why I'm looking for someone who can step me through the best options and do the work necessary to make it what I want. Just not happy with the current setup.

Anybody know of any suspension shops, specifically one that can tune shocks in the South Bay? Looking for some real world help fine tuning my rig. Thanks!

    The Renewal of Gaia

Catching Up I keep forgetting to post updates... A few weeks ago I joined the 300k club! :whoo: After removing the trans pan for some maintenance, I've had a problem with a slow ATF leak. I tried using a couple different gasketing silicone, but nothing worked. I finally used a fel-pro style...

3rd Gen T4R DIY Maintenance, Repair and Modification Videos

Headliner Removal For future reference for others... I had to remove my headliner to get to the leaking sunroof/clogged drain hoses. It is possible to get the headliner out without removing all of the plastic trim pieces on the sides. The tops of the trim pieces "pop" out so you can pop them...

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Took the headliner out last night. I was able to get it out without taking out most of the side plastic trim pieces, just pop the tops off and back. I didn't even take the car seats out! And most importantly, I didn't have to remove the dreaded oh shit handles.

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Got a couple of checklist items taken care of. Replaced the driver side sun visor clip Replaced a trans pan bolt to hopefully stop a slow leak Built the carcass for the drawer system. I'll finish the drawers when I get the slides in.

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

If it's anything like a Toyota, if you give it some love now, you should be fine until you've saved enough to repair it or get a new tranny. Did you replace the bolts on the pan when you dropped it? I've had a slow leak, we thought the new gasket failed, but the parts guy at the dealership...

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Do those just pop in and out? I've been meaning to do mine, but I thought I was going to have to pop the headliner off.

    First time welding

On that one I was pulling. On a few others I was pushing depending on my angle of attack. Do I need to change anything if I'm pushing or pulling?

    First time welding

I'm planning to build some drawers in the back and decided to try out welding since it's a relatively inconsequential project and it gives me a little more drawer space than thicker wood. A mechanic friend of mine gave me a quick 5 minute how-to the other day. The weld in the red circle was an...
