Well I tried the new fluid and Lucas. In 4th, it's slipping more and more. I think it's shot. I'd like to put in the manual transmission if that is cheaper. Can you guys give me some recommendations please?

Just the overdrive, that may be fourth(?), when under a load such as going uphill. I'm either selling this (retiring and going back to cars) or giving it to my son but either way, it needs to be fixed. I'll try new fluid first. Thanks.

I would not mind a manual but would that not be a lot more work by replacing the shifter and reworking the foot pedals? Would a R150f be cheaper than an automatic?

I drained the transmission yesterday when I read leaving the milkshake in may damage the transmission. I probably took out 3-4 gallons of fluid so I know the radiator is leaking. I won't drive it and my plan is to order a separate transmission cooler and install it. I think it's worth a shot...

There is coolant in the transmission. The dipstick shows the strawberry color. I just drained the transmission and got about 2 gallons of fluid out. I'll check the rear heater (did not even know I had one!)
