Has anyone figured a way to change oil and filter on the 2012 4Runner without removing the skid plate. I did it on our 1996 Tacoma v6 4x4 and do it on our current 2004 Tundra V6 4x4. Not a fan of Toyota care.

4hi and 4lo are only for slick surfaces as I understand. Running on pavement where traction is available could cause mechanical probems, or am I wrong. (The Limited with AWD is a different.)
