Oil and filter question.

Has anyone figured a way to change oil and filter on the 2012 4Runner without removing the skid plate. I did it on our 1996 Tacoma v6 4x4 and do it on our current 2004 Tundra V6 4x4. Not a fan of Toyota care.
Thanks
Tom

Can't unless you have Shrockworks plate with access panel (see in center of pic):

Is the OEM skid plate two piece and does it have a small access panel like the Shockworks plate? If so can the front section be removed to access the filter without too much work and leave the rear section in place, using the access panel to drain the pan. Would work pretty well with a Fumoto or similar valve and a piece of plastic tubing.
