I used to have this problem too. Thought it was the wipers, changed them out and the problem was still there. Turns out the glass was just covered in deposits. I used vinegar and a paper towel to apply it and let the vinegar soak/ dissolve the deposited gunk. Cleared it up nicely.

The vibration is coming through the steering wheel, just like an unbalanced wheel. So I'm assuming it has to be coming from the front wheels or suspension components.

Installed poly sway bar bushings all around as well as on the rear end links. End links were the most challenging part of it to get right but overall very easy. Results are a night and day difference. I can't believe how far gone the old bushings were. Best 50 bucks I could have spent on...

Hmm, add that to the list of bushings I need to look at. I have the same issues, changed the brake rotors and the shimmy didn't go away.
