It was hot when I drained it and I let it drain for several minutes. Don't get me wrong I'm not new to this stuff, just new to Toyota's. My 2003 chevy silverado take 6 quarts exactly on an oil change and it's right on the mark, same with my duramax 10 quarts on the dot. Guess I'm just spoiled...

Hello, new to the forum and also a new owner of a gen 5 2011 sr5 2wd. I've recently change the oil and oil filter in the vehicle after 5,000. I put 6 1/2 quarts in let the engine run, turned it off, let it set for a while. Check the dipstick and it's over the fill mark (past the second dot)...
