Rattling from the front end of my 03 4runner
When is it happening? Driving, idle? Check the skid plates, they rust and the bolts break off during oil changes. Then they rattle like crazy. You'll notice the rattle in gear at idle.- Jetdoc1

AC Compressor noise???
Just replace the compressor, the clutch and bearings are bad.. You don't want it to seize up. That will cause more problems for you. Obviously you will have to have the system evaced and re-filled again- Jetdoc1
