1987 - Before and after. Herculiner in the bed and black / camo tan plasti dip on the outside. Waiting for my Wabfab bikini top and still need bumper and some new springs.

Paint on my '87 was pretty bad and carpet inside was nasty ... especially after I too the top off and it got all wet. Not ready to spend as much on the truck for new paint ... so I did a little ghetto makeover. Herculiner in the bed and plasti dip on the whole exterior. I had already plate...

How did you apply th grizzly liner. My '87 is in need of some paint love and I'm planning on doing it on the cheap. I have Plasti Dip on the fenders / running boards, which has worked out very well. Thinking about more Plasti Dip for the body, rattle can, or something like this. Thanks!

Ripped out the nasty carpet in back. Top is off and planning on some bedliner soon. :cheers: Pics to come! :cry2: Found some rust through in the wheel wells that was hiding under the carpet.

Gen 1 w/ 17" wheels. 17" wheels, probably off a sequoia, with 265/70/17 tires (BFG AT w/ 50% tread). Plasti dipped. $120 for the set of 4. Stock suspension (including very saggy butt). Comes out to around 32" and no rubbing.

Good deal ...yes ... And saggy ... Yes. Although it is actually parked on a rather steep hill, so probably 1/2 as bad on the flat. As soon as the snow goes away and I dare spend an afternoon touching metal parts, some new springs are going on. Then the top is coming off.

Thats a really nice looking truck. I just picked up a very similar one, but way more tired. I'm also looking at wheel options including some used 16 and 17" options from Tacomas. There is a company in Denver that does custom leafs and front lifts.
