Well yea tires and a lift are a must since a stock 01' sits at -1. But a lunchbox locker? is that just an auto locking diff?

So i just got a 01' a few months ago and i want to start making it more off-road worthy but its a 2wd.So i figured if i was going to start any where it would be a manual locking diff. But i have no idea what brands to consider. So any help or links would be awesome.

But do any of them come with rear locking diff. and if so what year????

No just looking for cheaper way to get a rear locking diff. Cause i have an 01' and i read that the 96-00 came out with rear lockers but haven't found any. But do they come with a rear locker or is it one that just stays on

So i was thinking about an axle swap and was wondering if i could swap with the same gen. taco. or tundra any info would help.:biggrin2:

Yea i took it off twice to make sure but the first time i took the circuit board off to get to a bulb under it and i messed with the needs abit to get the gauges off. but im pretty sure i did not bend them or anything .

Yea so i took my dash apart to put some new leds in and i put it back together but my rpm gauge isnt working now. :bash: any ideas?

Yea definitely at least 3in and 285s and 33s are the same right i never really understood the difference.

Yea i was wondering if anybody knows whether or not you need a conversion kit to put in HID's or does someone make ones that fits? :D

Thanx alot that site is pretty sweet. but if i am gonna try to go with 33s is a 3in kit gonna be enough and which would be a better route to go if i needed an extra inch or so body lift or spacers? :bouncy:

So what about Sonoran Steel Fab?Its seems like all i read about is fabtek and all other kits are just spacers or just really generic. It does seem pricey but worth it to go with sonoran. But yea anything would help thanx

lift options?? Yea so i got my 4runner about 4 months ago and still cant come to a decision on what kind of lift to get. The best thing so far is 7.1 kit from Sonoran Steel Fabrication which would take it to 2.5f and 3r now keep in mind it is a 2wd:( but i have to get this baby off road soon...

?????? yea but i don't exactly know how much i would have to do for the conversion?
