1990 4runner, all windows and locks went out at the same time,what fuse or relay is related and where is it located? Thanks for any help.

Guess I'm just going to sell the truck. I work on Hondas all day and don't feel like working on this thing my day's off.....Called Toyota and they quoted $650 parts and labor to do valve adjustment, I can buy a reman head for that. I tried to remove shim with two screwdrivers,no luck with that...

......UPDATE....... removed valve cover and noticed exhaust valves have zero clearance.Now I got to find a place to buy shims and adjust valves properly.

I was thinking the same thing,so I checked compression again,all cylinders over 170 except 1 and 3,they are both at 0. Since there is no loud noise coming from engine maybe the valves are too tight and never fully closing.How the hell do you adjust valves on this engine.Thanks for your input.

Just wanted to know what you guys recommend to level my 4Runner,going to get new rims and tires and think it will look better with a level look.

Man that sucks,now i'm a little worried,rear diff gone bad that quick.I was hoping it was as simple as a wheel bearing,but thats how it goes sometimes.I have 40k on mine and I replaced my diff fluids with Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil,I thought Toyota's were tough,not in this case huh.:(

that seems fair,take it in and have the dealer look at it.I think its a wheel bearing or a bearing of some sort in the drivetrain.A wheel bearing is not that big of a deal,it will continue to get louder overtime,so you definately need to get it fixed

I never said that,but a bad O2 on a Honda will not cause that code,thats a fact.I think Toyota is the same,thats why the mechanic replaced the CAT.If he replaces the O2 and the code comes back,guess what,just wasted a bunch of money.I see it all the time.His truck needed the CAT.Your dead wrong...
