What i did was installed my own switch and ran it from the battery straight to the rear window motor. You need a rocker switch that returns to center, should work just fine unless you got something wrong with the motor.

Hey i have a 90 runner and i need to rip out the back panels to get to the speakers because they are blown. Can someone tell me how to do this without breaking them?

90 v6 with 223xxx miles, just picked it up im hoping it will last me a while.

Nope no clicking noise, it doesn't respond at all. I tried rolling it down with the key and that doesn't work either.

I just bought a 90 4runner and ive got the same problem, except my back window won't go down at all, which means i can't open the tailgate..anyone know what might be causing this and how i can fix it?
