I will most likely wind up getting the wheels/tires installed pre-lift and run like that for about 5 days or more. Specs are below, am I asking for trouble? 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers KMC Bully wheels 17x8.5 with 0mm offset and 4.75" backspace.

We have settled on the KMC 717 Bully wheel. The specs are 8.5" wide, 0mm offset and 4.75" of backspace. I will be running them with 285/70 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I will also be running a 2.5"+ lift. I would prefer to not have to do a BMC, does this wheel combo seem like a good candidate for no BMC?

The other wheel I am considering is... 17" 8" wide +16mm offset 5.12" backspace

I have 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and I'm looking at a wheel with the following specs... 17" 7" width +4mm offset 4.16" backspace Hub Bore 106 Would the tire I am running be better suited to a 8" rim or will 7" be fine?

Nope. Right now it's stock. Pretty much trail running with this and rock crawling with our Jeep. I think I'm going to go with the 285/70 like I planned to avoid some of the craziness right now. I might get crazy in the future though :)

Does anyone have real life feedback for the SPC UCA? I'm getting mixed reviews, the biggest issue being that the adjustable nut on the top slips and allows camber to go nuts.

This is true. Your property taxes are straight up ludicrous and PA's are getting a little rough I'm hearing. But hey you've get points for "Jersey Shore" and Tooki and Pauly... wait... nevermind ;)

Thanks for the not so helpful reply. Height is not irrelevant when it comes to fitment. If it was we would all be running 35s. What I was getting at is I want the bigger tire and the question was will there be a huge amount of difference with making it fit. I know there will be trimming but what...

Getting ready to build out our 2021 TRD Off Road and trying to decide between 285/70/17 and 285/75/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers with the C sidewall rating. There is aprox 1" of difference in height on these tires. I know once the tire is mounted and then has the load of the vehicle on it I will lose...

BFGs are notorious for running small so even though they say 34" I guarantee they are a "large" 33".

I know this is an old thread (and I need to get my stupid 15 posts in before I can post my own thread) but I do have a set of running boards for sale from a 2021 4Runner Off Road edition if anyone is interested.

Did you need to run and wheel spacers?
