Engine noise That is exactly what a Toyota master technician told me to do!!

engine noise The noise I have has been diagnosed as #1 main bearing,only when under the load od a/c compressor at low rpm's. I was told not to worry about it,however I hate noises so I may have it fixed. I wonder if I can just remove the oil pan to do it?

Just got a 2000 4runner Limited 100k miles. The truck looks and drives like new(amazing!) I have noticed 1 problem though. When at a stop, in drive(at idle)I hear a low pitch/repititous thump or knock noise *only when a/c compressor engauges*If put in park or neutral noise goes away. This noise...
