FYI
I found the T1064r on Ebay for 292.08 seller uspartsoutlet..put bid in for 280.00 and was accepted and recieved in less than week... Good deal for anyone still wanting!!
I have put the Bilstein 5100 in front set at 3rd notch 1.75" lift with stock coils and the ride is much better in front (much less nose dive). I was thinking of adding FJ springs in back and Bilstein shocks, still trying to verify if the springs would give me about .5 lift in back. I think even...
So I have heard some of the 4th gen 4runners are swapping rear springs for FJ rears and they say it gives a slight lift and are firmer? If so would they work on the 5th gen with same results? I have the adjustable 5100's in front set at 3rd notch and the truck is level with about .25" higher in...
I would ask them to test drive it and mention the TSB-hard shifts, let them decide if you have the problem. I had the same problem as you when slowing down to make a turn and after turning being under 20mph It would shift in the wrong gear a hard shift. They did the TSB and all is well now.
I am wondering of the guys that had this fixed, if they really had the HARD SHIFT and not lag? I will be taking mine in tommorow night, I can tell when I'm driving and go to make a turn under 20 mph and then hit the gas there is a hard shift. The dealer did say mine was one listed on the TSB...
I did the 5100's in front at 3rd notch (1.75")lift, which left maybe .25 higher in rear. If you are going to have more than 100lbs in back alot then you may want it at 2nd notch .85? I have 2 dogs and now would like the back maybe 1/2" higher, not sure how? I am thinking of putting the 5100's on...
Thanks, but since the shop couldn't get the right one and they said they would have to get it from Toyota. I think I'm going to call the dealer in am and first ask if they have been having problems with the studs and 2nd maybe have them do it and take the bill to Discount Tire to pay since this...
For anybody that has replaced these lug studs. I tried to buy some at Autozone, but they did not have the 2010 4Runner in the sysytem yet. Are they the same as 2009 or does someone have a part number and from what part store? The place that was to replace mine today said they got the wrong size...
Discount Tire broke a lug off front drivers side today, they stated they were using 80-85 ft lbs torque. They gave me a paper to have it replaced for free of course at a shop down the street.
