FJ rear springs?

So I have heard some of the 4th gen 4runners are swapping rear springs for FJ rears and they say it gives a slight lift and are firmer? If so would they work on the 5th gen with same results? I have the adjustable 5100's in front set at 3rd notch and the truck is level with about .25" higher in rear, but I want to get the rear with stiffer springs or a 1/2" lift for some dog weight in back. Thanks

whats the difference between the 2nd setting and third?

2ND IS .85 AND 3RD IS 1.75, So instead of lowering the front a notch I just want to raise the rear .5" or stiffen the rear.

that is a big difference between the two. I'm playing on leveling my trail too. BUt i don't want the back lower than front. hmmmmmm. Whats the solution anyone?

umm. The answer is what he said... .25inches is not even noticeable to the eye. Now if you plan on putting load in the back, the 2nd notch is the answer. Again, barely noticeable to the eye
