Looking to do a swap on my 1990. I found a '99 4runner engine with low miles and I'm wondering if the 99 will be worth it. Will I be able to use any parts from my 1990 engine?(i.e. air filter, radiator, power steering, washer fluid) I just need to know what all I should buy with the new motor...

It's an automatic, been running with 5w-30.I don't think I've thrown a rod yet but the knocking is coming from the back of the bottom of my engine. When I was driving it I could really feel the knocking in the pedal when I would accelerate.

I've had this runner almost two years. Wasn't in good shape when I bought it, Isn't any better now. I just changed the oil and hours later I'm on my way home when my engine starts knocking. I kept driving for about 15 miles until i finally parked it, with the knocking even louder. It sounds like...
