Just installed the Kenwood equivalent of this last Sunday with this dash kit. 2 days later it was stolen and all they had to do was pull because it is secured with just the tabs to the dash. I will be replacing it and its probably a good idea to figure a way to reuse the oem brackets and maybe...

On the install of these are the original spring loaded bolts supposed to be used? If thats what the supplied bolts are for how do you go about compressing the spring so they can bold on? Or do I just not need the spring?

Has anyone put them in the lower grill or a non pro? I just ordered a set of 4 and was considering putting them on the dl.

I wish they figured out a way to make it a fold down tailgate, if they had i would be 99% likely be waiting to trade in on one.
