I didn't need washers for my install. the plastic rims were all even on all 8 mount holes. the mounting brackets sat well on top. it was a perfect fit.

I have shopped around before going with ecotechne rack. i love the design and the price! Prinsu requires drilling, and has a poor contour design with the 4runner. Just my opinion, The ezi-awn is even worse, maybe stronger but definetly ugly.

For you guys that have your racks already, I was going over the install and I notice that these brackets don't cover the entire opening shown above. In comparison to the brackets for example, "Baja rack", they're brackets cover the entire opening, it covers the whole thing up and over to the...
