    Lift Questions

Check out the Eibach Pro-Truck lift system. I believe it has everything you need to lift & level everything without using spacers. I just replaced some worn out 5100s with Eibach's on the front of my 05 and couldn't be happier! From what I've seen, you can find that kit for around $750. Good...

The wind messed up my door

Just for the heck of it, I called my insurance company (State Farm) & told them what happened. They told me it was covered under my comprehensive coverage. So I was able to get it fixed by a local body shop with no out-of-pocket expense to me.

    ***Cracked Dashboard Action Request***

Yes. I have quite a few modifications in mine as well. Unfortunately, they didn't say anything to me about any additional charge until after they had the dash halfway disassembled. Then they called me & said they were going to have to charge me for additional labor or they would have to...

    ***Cracked Dashboard Action Request***

Took mine (SR5) to the dealer back in September to get it looked at. Got a call last week notifying me that the dash was in. Just took it in tonight so they could get to it first thing tomorrow morning. Man, I get nervous thinking about someone else taking my dash apart...Fingers crossed that...

Help with my subwoofer selection please

My set up is pretty much just like what you are asking... I have a JL 250.1 amp under the passenger seat running to a single JL 10w1v2-4 in the back. It's been in for at least the past 5 years & I've never had any issues and the sound is great for my 40+ year-old ears.

    difference between 06-09 headlights

Yes, I have a silver '05 & the silver (color code 1D4) bumper fillers match perfectly! The part numbers you will need are: 52512-35090-B0 52513-35090-B0 They aren't cheap, but to me they were worth it since I didn't have to worry about taking them somewhere to be painted. I ordered mine...

Wet okole vs clazzio seat covers

I've had Clazzios in my '05 for the past 3 or 4 years. Had no problems with them. They're holding up great & still look basically new. I do take good care of them though. I went without the seat warmers (South GA... don't need them too often). They can be pretty chilly to sit on in the...

    Plastidip Idea.. ?

I agree with grey ghost. What if you just painted the center caps black along with the wheels, but then painted just the emblem (on the center caps) pink?

Just did this today with ~97k miles on my '05. Thanks a ton W211 for the write up & the suggested re-routing order for the new belt! Helped tremendously!

    Bilstein Suggestions

Do a forum search & you will find tons of threads that cover this very topic. I changed mine out & used the .85 setting with stock springs. To me, it is perfectly level. Here are a few other threads to take a look at that cover this...

DIY: Rearview Mirror Radar Mount [Pics]

I found this same idea on another forum the other day as I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the blendmounts. I would've never thought of a bike reflector... it works great though! Good job with the install man!

    Dashboard "MAINT" light

The specific instructions are in your owner's manual. The basics are: - Be sure your dash display is set to "odometer" & not Trip A or Trip B. - With engine off, press the odometer reset button. - Keep this button pressed while you turn on the ignition. - Continue to hold button in for about...
