    Eibach shocks

Thank you Charlie that answers my question. Eibach offers 2 different styles of coils for our trucks. The pro lift coils are 577lb spring rate (I called Eibach) and the Toytec/eibach are 620lb. One is sold as 3” lift the other 2.5”-2-75”. I have had the toytec ones on tundra 5100s and I would...

    Eibach shocks

I have been looking into eibach coilovers for my 96. I am seeing different styles of the front shocks pictured everywhere I can’t find any installed pictures on a 3rd gen or any discussions of this. Some pictures show a full shock body down to the lower eyelet, while others show it slim down to...

Signs of A340F transmission going out

I had a full rebuild done with some upgraded parts. Not cheap. As long as you replace fluid and monitor temps from now on you should be fine. But yeah after seeing what a simple tranny cooler can do I would never run one of these trucks without one again.

Do king shocks need time to break in?

I just installed a set on mine as well (600lb coils in front and rear w/adjusters off the shelf valving due to no one having them in stock) and I feel the exact same about them. Front is definitely not plush in any way like expected but is not bad compared to the back being the stiffest shocks...

One question about 2001 OEM rear shocks and 99 OEM tall rear springs

Yeah oem is basically all the same and you can’t go wrong with the bilsteins. Good luck with the kings if your getting the Tacoma/ 4runner ones I would suggest buying them from somewhere that valves them for your setup. I just got installed some off the shelf ones and I’m not impressed.
