This may help... I have had this happen to me.... Make sure the carpet trunk liner is not jammed into the trunk lock. If that is not the problem. Make sure the the window is all the way up, I find that my truck asks funny when the window is not all the way up for some reason.

Truck Struts?? How are your trunck and hood struts working?? I would be interested in the trunk and hood struts if they are in good condition.

I think the lesson here is don't let your kids drive a vehicle you cared about.

Where can I find a new engine for a 06 4 runner V8?? 4.7L (VIN T, 5th digit, 2UZFE engine, 8 cylinder Will a Tundra 4.7 or a Lexus 4.7 (GX470) fit?? Only found 1 on ebay with 131k miles. Called all local junk yards with no luck. Thanks!!
