I totally want to see you do this to a 4th gen!! But if you have the cash to start off with a brand new vehicle and like the 5th gen go for it. Having a loan on a $40k vehicle and dumping in another $20k into it is not something that I would advise you to do with your hard earned money though...

I didn't take it off, just put the hose clamp over the original and tightened it down. Pretty ghetto fix but it worked for a long time?

I just tightened down mine with a hose clamp and got a lot more miles (20k) out if before she finally tore.

I have the exact same suspension set up as you and was thinking about adding those ICON springs in the rear. But you are right way too much lift. Now I guess I am going to have to spring for the whole ICON lift!!

put the money in a box in my study!!!! That's the funniest shit I have heard all day. On another note, I am wondering if you are going to weight the all the XREAS parts. I remember there was a tone of bracket and bs that I took off my truck when I removed the XREAS. Good luck with your build.

If it's for your wife/girl friend then go ahead and get the V6 otherwise get a V8 if you can find one. You are not going to save that much gas with 6 banger. V6 = GIRL TRUCK V8 = MAN'S TRUCK
