Same thing happened to me. I reached out to them and they sent me a different style that fit a lot more tightly (probably too tight), they did not have that quality finish of the others though. But they work, of course only one side though, that I think is a loose wiring issue.

$100 All weather floor mats. Put in for the pictures and then took out. Front fit like OEM, middle fits better as it has more coverage, the cargo needs to be trimmed to fit better, but works as is, just does not wrap to the edges perfectly. Located in Kansas City

Having problems getting a hold of them myself. Bought a Pro Grille with "4Runner" lettering, but there are no dimples or template to center them. Definitely not as big of an issue as yours, but still annoying/poor customer service.
