Wheel Spacers and tire rub

Recently leveled and went with larger tires. I will probably end up doing the fender-liner mod, but...I went with some pizza cutter size tires so wanted to maybe add some wheel spacers to give a more aggressive stance.

I currently only have the driver's side rub in near full lock and only in reverse.

Will adding the wheel spacers create more rubbing or will they clear everything? Not sure if anyone else has done this. I am on my OEM TRD wheels.

rubbing on the inside: spacers can help
rubbing on the outside: spacers will make it worse

here's why: spacers push the tires outwards, moving them closer to the edge of the outside of the car. think about what this means when you are making a tight turn, your wheels arc when they turn. the front and rear edges of the tires have wider movements, increasing the liklihood of rubbing
