Hey man, I think I saw your rig this morning on my way to work. It looked a little different as I believe the tail lights and headlights were tinted, but gotta say your rig looks good.
Makes me miss my 3rd gen I had.
Keep up the nice mods.
FS: 3rd Gen Tonneau Cover/Factory Cargo carpet/Front D-Mount brackets
Got in an accident, my 97 4Runner rolled and was totaled so took everything I added off and putting it up for sale.
Also have a tan cargo cover, the top of both plastic side caps are partly broken from it flying around in...
I live not to far from you. My zip is 75231.
Surprised I never saw your 4runner when you had it or your taco, although I don't go in the 75206 area that much.
Agree with this. Mine would do the same. Check my sway bar bushing and they were split in half. Replaced them with poly ones but now get a squeak from the end links because I forgot to grease those:ybrick:
He means did you add a spacer, to the bulb or lens to change how far the bulb sits from the lens to give you more color at the cutoff.
I would say that he didn't since he doesn't have much color(blue/purple) at the cutoff.
I have the shimmer as well but I don't believe my headlights have some play in them like you say yours does. I think its the just the extra weight of the projector making the headlight move or even the bulb shaking as well.
I have read, on hidplanet forums, other people having the shimmer...
Alright, explains why doesn't look like that. I retract my question then about the plate bracket.
It looks really good by the way, wish mine turned out that well.
Not to take anything way from the OP bt you can order a Lee filter swatchbook for about $6.95 and its got about 300 colors in it, although some are close to the same color.

What did you use to make the rubber gasket around the license plate holder?
I painted mine black because it was peeling and it doesn't quite sit flush with the body now.
Ans yes it is a huge pain to get the thing off.
