Hey, just wanted to check in on this issue. I have a 2019 TRD ORP and have noticed this cranking/grinding noise on cold startups when shifting from P to R, and much more from R to D. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Just changed the oil on my 4runner. There seemed to be an extra washer that was stuck to the pan. I'm not sure if this was the original washer or if it was part of the pan. I tried picking it off with my hand and it wouldn't budge and didn't want to use a tool on it in case it's supposed to be...

I remember researching this when I bought my OR trim, and everyone says to be firm and swift with the lever when engaging the transfer case. I slam that sucker every time now and don't even think twice. I've yet to hear any kind of grinding when going into 4hi.
