Not needed My 4 runner is new on;y a couple of weeks old and have more power than is realy needed. I have even towed my 2500 lb boat with it. In 4wd / 4 I can't even tell the boat is back there. This v 6 has plenty of power for my needs and like the gas mileage. Good question Kid
