New to forum

Hello,

I'm new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I just picked up my new 4 Runner on Wednesday and really am pleased with my selection.

Was originally looking at the FJ and Rav 4 but opted for the Runner. For a true 4WD that has the towing capacity this vehicle has, it rides surprizingly smooth and quiet.

I live in new Jersey and like good Cigars from an island near Florida, fishing for smallmouth bass and boating.

Looking forward to chatting with all on the forum.

Much closer to the FJ than the Rav.

I don't think it is all that uncommon to do. Better mileage vs. bigger vehicle. My finalist for a car in 2001 was Ford Escape, Toyota 4Runner and Izuzu Trooper. All three in different catagories. All had thier pro's and con's. The con for 4Runner was that it was the most expensive, in spite of the Trooper being bigger and having a higher list price.

I spend some time in Canada every summer for the past 20 years and love the place.

I can't wait to hook up the boat to the new 4 runner and head to the north country.
