I have access to a 3VZ-FE from a 93 camry with computer and wiring, the powerband on these engines is awesome plus with a tiny bit of tuning would easily match the power of the 3.4. How hard would it be to put one of these little monsters in my 4runner??? Oh, and would it be costly??

has anyone ever tried to put a 7m-GTE in their 4runner????? because I've heard that some automatic supra's have the A340 tranny's in them. Even tho the bellhousing may be different. so it shouldn't be hard to fit the 4x4 auto tranny to the motor.

Yep! That's the whole problem, the Amp remote wire (or accessory remote wire on some) needs to be plugged into the Antenna wire, it controls the relays that turn on the amp for the rear speakers. I don't know if I'd actually connect the power antenna wire coming from the H/U to it or not because...

I'm not an expert on these things, but I think the 30amp fuse may be allowing to much amperage to be running through the wires causing the relay/switch to get stuck on.

yeah, the constant (yellow wire on aftermarket harness) also runs off of the dome light fuse, and the wire is easily shorted out by touching anything with exposed metal attached to the car. The fuse is located in the fuse cluster under the hood, I ran into this problem too. It's clearly labeled...

yep, all the ADD is, is a vacuum controlled switch, that when the truck is engaged into 4wd it moves the i guess like a slider thing on the drivers side axle and connects it to the drive shaft. It's a pretty simple yet complicated system, I was studying up on it earlier.
