has anyone ever tried to put a 7m-GTE in their 4runner????? because I've heard that some automatic supra's have the A340 tranny's in them. Even tho the bellhousing may be different. so it shouldn't be hard to fit the 4x4 auto tranny to the motor.

I like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how much room you got under the hood after that? did you have to mod the radiator support at all??

yeah .. mine is a "custom" build .. no mods to the front rad support , but I cut out the firewall and cowl area also the tranny tunel , and most likely the inner fenders
I built a -- full custom frame -- and used the rear IRS and front IFS from a supra as well ..

so I dont think I will be much help !
