I've had the original Panasonic that lasted 11 years in my 99' Limited and a Duralast Gold that lasted 13 years in another vehicle. We'll see how long the Panasonic lasts in my 21' SR5 Premium. I believe one thing that helps is checking the battery's water level and keeping it on a battery...
I've got a 99' Limited with 266k miles and the same K&N filter which is washed/oiled at regular intervals and I've never had any MAF problems. I added the filter at the first recommended oil/air filter change after buying the vehicle new.

After reading quite a bit of articles on that site, there is definitely a lot of bashing and bias toward Toyota. Anyway, I know why I bought a Yota and the ones that bash are just ignorant and have never experienced a real truck!
Talk about being caught red handed, I wonder how many transmissions or what ever they build wind up failing because they are all alkyed up? I wonder how many GM employees are doing the same thing?

I usually just pick a CB channel and stay with it. Around here ch. 19 is very popular. Listen to your radio and you find that some channels are more popular that others.

I have 180K on my automatic trasmission now. No problems, I have changed the filter and fluid at around 90k and I'm going to do it again as soon as the weather warms up.
