Well, I'm happy to update that so far so good. Going to do the timing belt and water pump just to be on the safe side though. Not a bad deal considering I paid $10,200 for it I don't think. But we'll see how it goes!

I've owned a couple 4runners, 07 and 08, and I'm thinking about buying a used 2005 4runner V8 4WD. The one I found is in great shape and well cared for, only thing is the miles are a bit high. How long can I expect to drive this with that kind of mileage? I'd hate to get to 200k or so and it go...
