Personally I think the painted flares lack contrast. My state is already filled with new Tacomas and the TRD Off-Road with the matte black flares looks really nice.

Yep! My next car will likely be white. That being said, be careful with the non metallic white Toyota sells. I believe they renamed it because it built up such a bad reputation but they didn't change the formula. I believe its prone to chipping and peeling.

It's less about the savings for me. We all live busy lives and having to spend time getting fuel is such a chore. The fuel savings is just an additional bonus for me.
