So I had been noticing a minor vibration in my engine, but my mind was trying its best to pretend like it was a hallucination. Got in my 4runner last night and it was very noticeable on my way to the store. I could really feel the engine vibrating. If felt like the way old engines feel when...
thanks it worked.
I needed to twist it a little bit too. Surprised they make it so awkward. I had been driving a few days without it which is a pretty bad idea.
I am having a real hard time getting my transmission fluid dipstick back in it's place. It slides about 75% down really easily and then it is very resistant to go in past that. Should I just push it really hard, or should I get a new dipstick? Would a new one even help?
Re: Preventing Cat theft
No personal experience, but I am guessing only 0.1% of the population has the cables so if you had them they could easily find another victim. Sort of like finding an unsecured wireless network. Why bother with a secured one, when there are a million unsecured ones...

I need to get my crossover pipe fixed on my 4runner. I am sick of the noise and people asking if my car is going to die everytime they ride with me.
How much does it typically cost? Has anyone else done this? I heard it was a common problem with 3rd gens but nothing came up when I searched...
I have Monroe sensatracs, and the step up was pretty minimal from stock in terms of ride quality. got mine changed at 120K

Premium actually has less energy per gallon then regular. Don't be fooled!!! All it does is prevent knock at higher compression ratios by lowering the auto-combustion point. I think performance vehicles are typically 13/1 pressure ratio, and regular vehicles are 9/1. Not exact.
What up...
I have heard it has a higher solvent property because there is more ethanol in it. But I have no idea how true this is. I have never heard any extreme warnings against it.
