Update at almost 249k miles Engine is still running well at 249K miles. Check light engine light came on again around 210K (in 2016) for same problem as stated coil #6. My engine thermometer gauge went red hot and was bouncing like crazy. For sure I thought my engine was done but it wasn't...

I've had the same issue with #6 miss fire. Mine occurred around 130k (3-4 years ago). Dealer quoted me $3500 for repairs and I said screw that. I never got it fix but my 4runner is still running strong at 190K. Knock on wood. I'm going to drive it till the engine blows then replace it.

my speedometer is not completely dead; sometime it works and sometimes nada. i guess it might be an electrical issue. my rpm still works fine and i'm using that to estimate my speed.

My speedometer stopped working yesterday. The needle just stays at zero and it does not move, so I can't tell how fast I'm going anymore. Are there any quick fixes or do I have to take to the stealership? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

i have the gibson's exhaust, so far it's pretty good. i'm happy that i got it, it was free so no complaints here. if you're interested in one then i would recommend that you get the stainless steel one. it'll last longer.

i've been using 91 octane gas on my runner and my plugs weren't even that dirty or worn out when i changed my plugs last week at 30k...i didn't get the chance to take any pictures of the spark plugs and i already threw them out...sorry no pics...i even comtemplated about changing them but i...

go with the stainless, one of gibson's employee told me to go with the stainless when they hooked me up with the free exhaust...stainless won't rust as fast as alluminized and will last longer in the long run...it's worth the extra $100 or so...

if you guys want to clips to my gibson exhaust then ask boaz for it...i won't be at my computer this summer so i won't be able to send it to you guys...hopefully boaz still has them...it's not the best quality but it's still something...

yes, they gave me a call a day or two after i emailed them about the free exhaust. even though the 4runner wasn't listed on the list of free exhaust, they still called me and hooked me up with one. as price goes, you can try calling up gibson themself or browse their website for more info...
